The English Whisky - Single Malt Rum Cask Matured (Limited)
Formerly known as Chapter 7. Small Batch Release of English Whisky Rum Cask Matured from the St George’s Distillery in Norfolk. Aged in ex rum cask and virgin oak. Filled into Rum Casks April 2013 and bottled in February 2018.
Bottled by the expert team at The English Whisky Co.; The Rum Cask release is available in two options: 156 bottles of 59.9% Single cask, cask strength and 300 bottles at 46% strength Small Batch rum cask whisky.
Best served at room temperature with a splash of water.
- Nose: Sweet, soft and slightly spicy. A mixture of vanilla and rum & raisin ice cream, fresh and citrusy with a hint of tropical fruits. Slightly nutty with a hint of marzipan.
- Palate: Very soft again with citrus notes. Slight peppery spice with a hint of raisins. Malty with a hint of fresh wood. Salty and dry on the finish. Slightly nutty and raw cinnamon.
- Finish: Waxy orange and lingering vanilla pod earthiness.
